EAST COAST SUMMER TOUR, Pt 1 (with my daughters interviewing me :)
I finish my current consulting gig next week. Then I'm packing my car and taking The Inner Adventure Mindset keynote on the road this summer, hitting 15 East Coast cities to work with human-centered, small-to-mid-sized businesses ready to reframe how they navigate uncertainty and change.
Many of the challenges we face today — uncertainty, volatility, change fatigue — are challenges we face on an adventure. But on an adventure, they are expected.
When adventure hands us those challenges the intrinsic qualities that matter most — adaptability, mutual trust, curiosity, presence, courage — are the same human-centric qualities sought after today, and the least likely to be automated by AI.
My experience — 20+ years of pioneering work in innovation and strategy, surviving death (twice), mastering the skills to channel my ADHD challenges into assets — gives me a rare lens on thriving in uncertainty.
Using my experience and research, I've developed a new framework I call The Inner Adventure Mindset — a way of moving forward with clarity and confidence when everything around you is chaotic and uncertain.
Instead of diving into another consulting gig while I finish developing the keynote and speaker reel and pilot testing it, I'm doing what the framework actually teaches: throwing myself into uncertainty to stress-test it in real time.
Current Known Obstacles:
1. To book speeches, you need a great speaker reel and marketing assets, and I don’t have those yet. 😮
2. Finding places to speak and organizations and people to pay me to speak. I'll speak anywhere — lunch-n-learns, entrepreneur hubs, all-hands, executive team meetings, pancake breakfasts, stepping in for cancellations…maybe your backyard barbecue?!
3. I’m forming a new company for this. I have to set up all the accounts, figure out the tech stack, and get the accounts set up and start using them...
