I originally discovered Blue Ocean Strategy through some of the authors HBR articles. When the book came out in 2006 I devoured it. I remember thinking, ‘finally, frameworks and tools for what we’ve always created on our own!’
The Blue Ocean Strategy website is packed with all the information you need to dive into it. However, I’ve found that people’s existing mental models often get in the way of discovering what this approach to strategic innovation really offers. For this reason I’m developing a series of presentations that provide a basic introduction alongside the frequent misconceptions.
